How To Destroy America
"Government is not a solution to our problem[s],
government is the problem." -- Ronald Reagan

It's Time to Worry about Global COOLING

"...an utterly corrupt new religion called environmentalism..."
If the history of this planet's climate over millions of years is any guide, we are about to enter a new ice age.

If You Feed Them, They Will Come
By Debbie Daniel (02/16/04)

I’ve been listening to both sides of this immigration issue and I’ve come to the conclusion that the only way to handle this problem is to line up every willing and able American, arm in arm, across our entire border and shoot to kill.

I don’t know how in the world anyone thinks we can saturate our borders with enough militia to catch every single illegal that tries to come over. Some say we should bring our soldiers home from Iraq, Afghanistan, France, Germany, and every country around the world to protect our borders from these illegal aliens.

I’ve also learned that even if every soldier were to come home to protect our borders, we would still have wide open gaps. Sean Hannity from Fox News says he has special binoculars that could view up to one mile, so we could put our border patrol one mile apart, 24 hours a day, 52 weeks a year. Oh yes, that’s exactly where we want all our soldiers . . . protecting us from Mexican citizens. What’s going on?

Sam Donaldson debated with Hannity and said he’s been down to these borders and has watched the border police go after these individuals on horseback. The minute our forces go in one direction, there’s many more coming in from another.

Others say build a wall, electrify a fence, and stop them dead in their tracks. I’ve listened to all the “backlash” that says Bush put forth this proposal to win votes in this election year. But for those who think George Bush cares about your vote, you’re mistaken. Bush has an agenda and I’m convinced he’s going to put through every issue on which he campaigned. He’s already said: “If the American people don’t want me another four years, they’ll say so in the next election. Right now I’ve got a job to do and I’m going to do what I think is right for the American people.”

Bush doesn’t do anything without careful thought, soul-searching prayer, and then he acts. Once he’s made up his mind, forget it.

Here come the pundits: “Well, we’ll just show him . . . He’s not going to get my vote . . . Who does he think he is? . . . What a jerk!”

Well, if he’s made everyone mad, how can he be pandering for votes? Conservatives think he’s too liberal . . . liberals think he’s too conservative, and everyone else is still scratching their head trying to decide exactly what he is.

I love it. I get so amused at people. Most conservative and liberal columnists can’t figure this one out . . . everybody’s in a tizzy.

I’m going to play “devil’s advocate” because there’s a lot of blame to go around, and for the very people who you think are on your side, they’re not. For those of you who believe George Bush is dividing the country, well, he just cut this pie and it divides out in a whole different way.

If George Bush was going to do this, or anything else, for political reasons, we would have never gone to war in the first place. If he needs your vote with this issue, then you’ve not been listening.

Only 7% of Americans want more immigration in our country. He wouldn’t have done this for a 7% vote; he could have gotten that by bringing our soldiers home 6 months ago.

I heard radio talk show host, Michael Savage, say he was going to put his radio career on the line over this issue. He was pounding his fists and screaming across the airwaves: “George Bush has gone too far . . . I’ve been on his side, but this is it.” The radio host then decides he’s going to wage a campaign AGAINST Bush and FOR Howard Dean. This very host said: “Even Clinton didn’t do anything this bad.”

Many of the “Whitehouse Hopefuls” are salivating at the public reaction. This is what they needed. “C’mon George . . . make our day.”

Folks, this is not a done deal. The vote on this immigration law can be stopped if that’s what America really wants. Contact your six and seven term elected officials, who give themselves automatic pay raises every year. But, I must warn you . . . they’ll give him the green light, because George has done “their” dirty work. This is an issue they want, but it’s better to let George be the heavy.

They love it. George has truly “stepped in it.” Many of the senators and representatives have actually wanted to grant full citizenship to these illegals. Check it out folks. Some of you are not paying attention; then you hear the sound bites and start running around like crazed chickens.

But here’s where the truth comes in and this is where we once again find ourselves as the consummate hypocrites.

If we have ten million illegal aliens in this country, it isn’t because George Bush stood at the border on Inauguration Day 2001 and said, “Ya’ll Come.” Everybody else seems to “turn a deaf ear” when things need to be done, but not George Bush. He sees a problem and presents a solution.

If we don’t want him anymore, he’ll go to Texas and be just fine . . . period. End of George Bush.

He still won’t care what you think about him. He does what he thinks is right for America.

If we don’t want undocumented immigrants, stop hiring them. The stray cat won’t keep coming around if you don’t feed it.

Analogy: When you feed deer, you attract many more. Here in Texas it’s a big problem. At first we loved looking out our windows and seeing the lovely deer grazing in our front yards. It made us feel like we had our own forest. But when we started buying up the deer blocks to feed them, and had hundreds more coming to be fed, how can we get upset when the deer start eating away at our trees and foliage and ruin our gardens? Nor can we be angry when they dash out in front of us on our neighborhood streets and damage our cars. We brought them here, now we must deal with it.

But the hypocrisy comes when the very people that fed the deer in the first place are the same ones who called the animal control or got petitions signed by neighbors to have the deer killed or herded out by game wardens because now they’re a nuisance.

And we’ve done the same thing with undocumented workers.

Why use the resources of our military and National Guard -- at the detriment of being protected anywhere else in the world -- when all we’ve got to do is not hire them?

If we’re bringing all our soldiers home, we might as well shut down all our embassies, build a wall, and stand guard.

Many of the very people who are screaming “close the borders” have eaten in restaurants, slept in hotels, and have done business everyday with companies that hire illegals and we NEVER say a word. You may have a friend who hires an illegal housekeeper or gardener, but you look the other way.

Yet you’re ready to stand at our border with a vigilante mentality and shoot them on sight. Give me a break. What do we really want?

We scream: “Close the borders . . . How dare Bush give these people amnesty.” No, my friend, WE gave these people amnesty. Why do we expect the federal government to do it all and then sit back in our “lazy boy recliners” complaining when it’s not done to our satisfaction?

I’m telling you, if we’re not willing to stand strong against the things we don’t like, we’re going to have to accept the consequences of what we’ve allowed to happen.

The illegal immigrants are here, so what are we going to do? Line them up on the streets of every major city and put them in jail because they broke the law? How can we get so hung up on breaking the law? We break the law everyday with our speeding habits, why be so pious?

George Bush told us in his campaign how he felt about this immigration problem. He was talking about this to Vicente Fox when he was Governor of Texas.

Ten million illegal aliens are in our country because AMERICANS opened up the “candy store” and gave them opportunity. So why be a hypocrite now?

Saying our borders will be “pure and free of illegals” with total military control is as silly as Wesley Clark saying that 9/11 will never happen if he’s Commander-in-Chief. Hogwash!!

It was never too many illegals when we needed them for our own individual jobs to be done, but when so many came . . . it was time to get rid of them. When we could pay cheap prices for their labor, it was okay, but lo and behold, they got sick and needed medical attention, so the price got higher.

Prostituting these people through our own selfish desire has actually cheapened us. We’ve gotten ourselves into a mess. We’ve used them for what we wanted, but when they became an encumbrance, it was time for them to go.

We’ve exploited these illegals far too long, and now we’re trying to do something about it. If you feed them, they will come. How many are you supporting?

The United States Is Being Overthrown By Our Politicians - "A silent but all-reaching coup is taking place within the United States. This coup is not being directed by bomb-laden Muslim terrorists, nor will it ever be covered by the mainstream media. The seditious act is being carried out by our very own elected officials, with President Bush leading the insurrection."
"The FDA has conveniently used the excuse of looking out for consumer safety to increase their perverse regulatory power, undermine free speech, disrupt commerce, and generally get in the way of helping people improve their health. The "half-truth" of the safety issue is used as a ploy to reduce the rights of Americans, one freedom at a time. Once again, the FDA is seeking more police power to intimidate supplement companies. This is one step in an overall FDA master plan to eliminate therapeutic nutritional supplements from the free market. Those who lose are the American public." The FDA - A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
