Jim E. Reames Novel Available Free Of Charge

The futuristic Christian novel “VALLEY OF THE DRY BONES”, written by Jim E. Reames back in 1992 is now being made available FREE OF CHARGE to any and all readers. It can be found on his personal web site in PDF format. Very few copies of the original hardback are available and Reames does not seek paperback publication. Permission to make printed hard copies has been granted. Reames is converting each chapter to Acrobat PDF format and posting them to his web site, a chapter every few days.

A fascinating look at the rapture, similar to Left Behind, February 2, 2001

I have to admit that this is the first Christian book I have ever read, and I am still thinking about it, 7 years after I read it.

The story is very similar to the Left Behind series written several years later, so if you like that series, you should love this book.

However, instead of starting with The Rapture and following afterwards, this story concentrates on the time right before this event. And the major character is a Christian Sheriff, having to almost hide his faith because of people's mistaken belief that Christians are not tolerant of other's.

Well before it's time, it covers issues of faith, family, political correctness, and forgiveness. And many things parallel Pre-World War 2 Germany. But it is also very believable. If you can get this book, read it.
