Is It Ethical To Exhibit Anger Towards Militant Liberals?
By Jim E. Reames (04/03/03)
As a Christian I feel compelled to ask myself whether or not it is proper to exhibit personal anger at militant liberals who so vehemently voice their own anger, hated, and contempt of President George Bush, or at his politics, his beliefs, his Christian faith, and now his decision to wage war in Iraq.
I’m not talking about liberals like Alan Colmes (on the Fox News network) who is one of the most-skilled debaters in public media, a gentleman, a scholar, and an articulate who never lowers himself to attack the person he rebuts. Rather, I am talking about the militant liberal, the ones who are hypocrites; they employ double standards to the extreme. Some claim to hate war. Yet they will actually murder those who disagree with them. They feel it their Constitutional Right to break just about any public disturbance or private property law in order to protest.
Are not we Christians supposed to "Turn the other cheek" and be pacifists, with a "Peace at any price" Sunday school attitude?
In most instances I would say "Yes. Do "…Turn the other cheek." Better yet, avoid the fight all together…to the point of appearing cowardly.
But I only agree with that suggestion up and to the point where fighting back becomes a matter of principle, last result self-defense, to protect the life of someone else who is unable to protect themselves (like in the case of the poor Iraq and North Korean citizens), to enforce the law, or to win a war that is long over due and morally just. Then I say fight. Fight to win! Why can I say this? Maybe because we possess "the right" to be angry with the militant liberals.
It is important to assess that we conservatives have been under attack for a very long time.
On Campus: For many decades. . .there has been a liberal dictatorship; one that praises diversity, only so long as diversity is in agreement with the idealism of liberal thought and teaching. Last month my 18-year-old daughter (an honor student) just received a C- grade for a paper that favored a two-year compulsory service of all 18-year-olds to our nation. She is in favor of bringing back the draft for all young men and women alike. But because her professor did not agree with the paper it earned a low grade, given to a student who likes journalistic expression and is better than most others her own age when it comes to the subject of English composition.
At the work place: In the name of political correctness we’ve seen almost a decade of executive appointments in government where the highest positions are seated by incompetents who would not even begin to professionally compete with the street-level rank and file people they now oversee and manage.
On television: We have been bombarded with so much filth and violence it makes one ask why God would even permit the continued existence of the human race. Madonna’s recent video comes to mind! She claims to hate war. But a grenade is thrown at the look-a-like person of President Bush. Madonna is a sick, demented, unappreciative brat that betrays the sacrifice of brave soldiers on the battlefield. She is a disgrace to the United States of America, our freedoms, and to herself.
In the news: We have been subjected to all levels and degree of liberal propaganda and underhanded media. It is smoke & mirror trickery, the play of words. And we’ve all witnessed the brutal professional execution of any conservative political figure making what even appears to have been a slip of judgement. Yet, the same liberal stone throwers refused to even remotely pass judgement on a United States President who turned the White House into a whorehouse a few years back.
From the Ninth Circuit Court in San Francisco: We’ve seen liberal (powerful) judges re-write the meaning of the United States Constitution with the stroke of the legal pen that the idealism of liberalism might be propagated. We’ve seen honest, hard working, law-abiding Americans practically stripped of our Constitutional right to possess and to bear arms for the protection of our families. So in this Twenty-first Century we are forced to trust in, and rely upon, a perceived police protection that in too many cases is never present to protect the unarmed innocent. We’ve seen the court-ordered release of the most violent of human beings, actions by judges that defy the intelligence of common sense. We see irresponsible and careless people winning massive multi-million dollar lawsuits for the stupidest of reasons. We saw the globally televised murder trial of a man where the race of the defendant was more important concerning the verdict than the crime committed.
In church: We see ministers lips silenced for fear their words of wisdom from God might be labeled a verbal "hate crime" and laws passed that threaten to strip IRS non-profit status away from congregations when sermons ingress certain sensitive subjects. Most of today’s ministers avoid morality sermons for fear of losing the voluntary tithe.
Throughout the land: We’ve seen greater importance placed on fish and birds, snails and trails, than on the ability for man to work and to harvest that same land to feed the hungry.
In science: We witness "voodoo predictions" based not on true science but, rather, upon politically correct objectives---always at the expense of American jobs, American industry.
In music: We’ve been made practically deaf to sounds that are peaceful to the human soul.
From Hollywood: We’ve been sold movies saturated with Politically Correct agenda, so that public attitudes might be swayed towards alternative life styles that are destructive and immoral.
In the womb: We’ve seen murder unmeasured.
In the United Nations: We’ve seen the leaders, some of them even terrorists, use the legal process of International law to attack all that the United States attempts to be. They then have the wherewithal to beg for more money from the honest hard working America they despise.
In the windows of some cars: We see the national flags of countries loved more than the United States. We see the dress styles of other nations, sometimes worn by a people who are more loyal to their native ways than to the traditional ways of this land.
In conversation: We hear the loss of English as the official language of the land.
Now, from the battlefield where brave Americans are fighting and dying, we see unpatriotic lies that are deliberate and intended to aid our enemy, the voice of a liberal American citizen reporter who hates America.
Yes, the attack on conservative America has been long. It has been relentless. It has been successful. Moreover, some of it has been ruthless.
Now, the liberals cry is "Unfair conservative judgement!"
Well, tell that to people like Trent Lott.
Tell that to the 1970s "Florida Orange Juice Queen" Anita Bryant, who’s public acting career was ruthlessly destroyed after she went public to denounce the growing acceptance of homosexuality.

Tell that to Christian college students who get told to shut up, and to sit down, when they dare to challenge the theory of Darwinism.
Tell that to any victim of a crime committed by a repeat violent criminal that our liberal--and putrid--court system helps to create and breed.
Tell that to Moscow, Idaho’s Bobbie Shore who, just last week, was handed a cup of hot chocolate---laced with poison---for his street-corner support of American troops.
From political activists: We saw creation of the Weatherman bomb factory in New York City. And in 1969 we witnessed the murder of eighty-six police officers in America, as an asymmetric modus operandi to protest all the institutions of our society.
So is it ethical to exhibit anger towards today’s militant liberals? If we use Jesus Christ as an example, then there is the story of how he became so enraged at the hypocrites of his day he made a whip and drove them out of the temple. If we use the Bible as an example, then King David is said to have been a symbol of what Jesus will be like the next time we see him…, a warrior with a sword, come back to fight.
So I have no moral issues exhibiting political-opinion and journalistic anger towards today’s militant liberals. You are, most of you, putrid. You are the false illuminati. You are cowards and hypocrites, murders, thieves, a tax upon everything decent and pure, many from behind the church pulpit. You are a mentally infected and slanderous scourge!
The time has come when we must go to war against the message and tactics of militant liberals, and do so with the same drive for victory that will come in Iraq. We must fight this culture war without taking on personal hate. We must, and we will, win!
