More Liberal Hypocrisy About Arnold And Rush

What Hypocrisy?
The following is an attempt to put the truth in context. It is not a defense of any behavior by anyone.
The liberals have been calling conservatives hypocrites this week because conservatives in the California election supposedly supported Arnold Schwarzenegger even though he was just like Clinton. They also claim Rush Limbaugh is a hypocrite because he was addicted to pain medication even though he was tough on drug addicts on his radio show. Let us examine both of these charges.
The charges against Clinton were about lying under oath, committing adultery, rape, and sexual harassment of an intern. The liberals do not want to face the truth about this; they want to claim it was just about sex. Even if it was just about sex, what does that have to do with Arnold? Has anyone charged Arnold with rape? Did anyone claim she had sex with him, with or without her consent? Did Arnold lie about what he did? Clinton lied about all of the above. Arnold admitted he was aggressive with women. He has also said he won’t do it anymore. Clinton has never said he would not do it again.
Many conservatives did not support Arnold and they did not condone his previous behavior. There is no hypocrisy by conservatives. Arnold did not lie to them and for that reason many conservatives did vote for him. If he is caught doing the same thing again and the conservatives still supported him, that would be hypocrisy.
Rush Limbaugh became addicted to pain killers after unsuccessful surgery. I do not know anyone who takes pain killers for recreational purposes. Rush has railed against cocain, heroin, and marijuana users. These users became addicted by playing around with drugs to get high. They did it to themselves. I have no sympathy for them, nor did Rush. There is no hypocrisy in that position.
I have similar ear problems as Rush. The pain was excruciating. I have also had severe back pain. I--and most people--can understand the need for pain killers. That is why Rush will have no problem with keeping his listeners when he comes back.
