More Lies By Democrats. Have They No Shame?

Let us suppose I owned a business in 1929 and I had ten employees. Let us surmise that one employee got laid off because of the depression. Then we flash forward to today, and my company now has one hundred employees and my son is running the company. He has laid off two employees. Would it be fair to say that my son is a bad manager because he has laid off twice as many employees as I did when I ran the company? The fact is I laid off 10% of the employees and my son has only laid off 2% of the workers. You have to consider the number of total workers to make a comparison.
Today the Democrats are claiming that the number of people that have lost jobs during the Bush administration is the worst since Herbert Hoover. This is a big LIE. During the Great Depression over twenty million people were unemployed out of a population of one hundred and forty million. Today there are three hundred million Americans and only six percent are unemployed. You have to consider these numbers to make an HONEST comparison. The Democrats are not honest. The news media that does not confront these lies are also dishonest.
The second big lie is that Iraq is ''another Vietnam.'' What are they talking about? 58,000 Americans died in Vietnam, but less than 400 in Iraq. We are not fighting Iraq, we are fighting terrorists that infest all of the Middle East. It is better to kill them in Iraq than here at home. There are no ''super powers'' supplying the terrorists. In Vietnam we were fighting the Russians, the Chinese, and the Vietnamese. There is no comparison.
Former Democrat Mayor of New York, Ed Koch, said it best on 9/11/03. ''I think [Bush has] been terrific. And I have never voted in the past for a Republican president. ... But I am voting for George Bush this time around. And I will tell you why. He has created what is now known as the Bush Doctrine, equal to the Monroe Doctrine. And what is the Bush Doctrine? That we will go after the terrorists and the countries that harbor them. And he's kept his commitment, unlike anybody else in the world. And certainly unlike any of the nine or so Democratic candidates for president. And the worst one is Howard Dean. I mean, that's McGovern II."
