Inmates 1, Asylum 0

According to testimony before the 9-11 Commission airlines are fined if they investigate more than two Arab passengers. Yet, there was no outrage by the media or Democrats.
Some American soldiers abuse some Iraqi prisoners they were guarding. The abuse is discovered and investigated. Arrests are made and the offenders are being prosecuted.
Democratic Party politicians like Ted Kennedy, listening to their Maoist wing, attempted to exploit the issue for political profit. They tried to characterize the incident as a systemic problem representative of all military personnel – reprehensively slandering them. They also demanded the Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, resign in the middle of a war.
Yet, Keith Maupin, a young soldier from Ohio - captured by Iraqis – was ruthlessly executed. The mainstream American news media spent less time talking about this than they did talking about the abuse of American POW’s. Ted Kennedy made no speeches about this. In fact, not one Democrat made mention of this.
American soldiers and civilians were executed before by Iraqis, without much mention by the media. Certainly, Democrats have not mentioned these incidents.
The Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD’s) are not located immediately, rather than wonder where they are, the media and the liberal, Communist, Democrat (LCD) coalition claim they never existed and the president lied. Now that evidence of WMD’s is being discovered the media and LCDer’s do not say a word.
Claims about Saudi citizens taking flights immediately after 9-11 when purportedly no one else was permitted to fly are accepted as fact. The media and the LCD coalition all believe this lie. Despite being disproved by the 9-11 Commission and others some of the LCD coalition still believe it.
Despite evidence of links between Al-Qaeda and Iraq, evidence confirmed by three CIA directors, the current and past presidential administrations, independent news media - including those not sympathetic to Republicans - the mainstream media and the LCDer’s keep saying there was no link.
It is pathetic that Democratic Party leaders repeat the mantra of bizarre conspiracy theories that originated with their Marxist-Leninist-Maoist elements. It is even worse the Democratic mainstream media myrmidons publish these theories as gospel.
However, the worse thing is that resources, time, taxpayer dollars, and people have been used to investigate these allegations - which have absolutely no proof other than the person or institution making the allegation. Very often, if not always, the accuser is a political or ideological hater of the president.
Instead of 9-11 commissions, instead of investigations of Rumsfeld and Cheney manipulating intelligence, instead of investigations of military plans - why is there not an investigation of a terrorist attack, planned in Jordan designed to kill 80,000 people. A terrorist plot that was devised by an Al-Qaeda terrorist who was living in Iraq before the US invasion.
Why is there not an investigation of why this terrorist plot included a weapon of mass destruction, which are not supposed to be found in Iraq? Why is there not an investigation of why there is sparse reporting by the news media? Why have we the people been denied the details of this information and an explanation of the discrepancy between the claim by anti-Iraq war advocates of no Al-Qaeda/ WMD links to Iraq, and this plot that clearly provides evidence of those links.
Why is not CBS, ABC, NBC, CNBC, FNC, MSNBC, the NY Times, et. al., not reporting this? What about NPR?
NPR is owned by the taxpayers and supposed to be nonpartisan. Tax dollars should be used to tell citizens vital information such as this. Information especially critical in an election year. Such information will help determine if either the president is incompetent or deceitful, or that his critics are deceitful and incompetent.
This information is vital. NPR, at the very least, should be investigating this matter as a public service - yet they are not. Why not? Why are they censoring this information?
Should not Congress investigate NPR? The government, thankfully, cannot investigate private radio stations about what they do or do not report. However, as owners of the NPR radio network, we as taxpayers have every right, using the offices of our elected representatives, to know if NPR is being politically partisan. Indeed, it should be required. American citizens need to know if their own radio network is telling them the truth. They have every right to know who makes the choices about what to broadcast and why.
Democratic Senators and Representatives, and the media seemed more concerned about Democrats obtaining power than they are about terrorists. Worse than that however are the concepts, policies, and procedures of both political parties that are designed more to prevent offending certain people than they are to prevent the murdering of Americans.
The inmates are truly running the asylum.
