It's Time to Worry about Global COOLING

"...an utterly corrupt new religion called environmentalism..."
If the history of this planet's climate over millions of years is any guide, we are about to enter a new ice age.

The “IT” Factor
By Ann Huggett (07/21/03)

One can always tell that the DNC manufactured scandals against President Bush are going nowhere when Democratic spin meisters start accusing their willing accomplices in the media of having a right wing bias as happened on MSNBC last Saturday. That means the message is not getting out as hoped by the DNC. Funny how it never occurs to Terry McAuliffe, James Carville, Tom Daschle, or Richard Gephardt that maybe making hysterical and unfounded accusations against a popular sitting Republican President in a time of war is shooting oneself in the foot politically.

On July 6 the DNC sent out a memo of talking points to elected Democrats and a pro-Democratic Party selection of news media outlets that can only be described as seditious if not downright treasonous. Because of it’s Bob Dole line-up of current candidates, the DNC knows that it doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell of winning the Presidency in 2004 unless it can bring Bush down between now and election time. The talking points the Democrats handed to their willing news saboteurs are meant specifically to question Bush’s honesty, intentions, and integrity.

According to this memo, "It is clear that the current approval ratings of the administration are tied directly to strong American feelings toward traditional values. To counter this, doubt must be raised as to America's true position within the world community and the true intent of the Bush administration in waging war."

So now we’re being treated to parsing the CIA approved and MI6 verified 16 words of President Bush’s State of the Union Address over Iraq’s nuclear weapons to the point where Senator Bob Graham is gleefully trying to get the old impeachment wagon train going. Katrina vanden Heuvel, editor of The Nation, was challenged directly by Paul Alexander of ABC’s Batchelor and Alexander Show as to what specifically in those 16 words of President Bush’s was a lie and she couldn’t answer him. In fact, she just totally ignored the question and kept repeating that they were lies.

Oh, right…. If you repeat slander without substance often enough it becomes the truth. No wonder Ann Coulter’s book exploring the Democratic Party’s history of unpatriotic behavior, Treason, is such a best seller. In this leftist dominated culture people are starved for the truth and it’s always nice to have a hot property like Treason shown to be true in fact as well as in theory.

So who are the 2004 Democratic Presidential hopefuls for whom the DNC has decided to rip the country apart? Who will be the anointed one destined to rule over the ruins? When asked by CBS pollsters, voters couldn’t name even three of them.

So let’s take a look at these 9 candidates, who are so shallow and unburdened by principle that they are willing to lie their way into the White House. None of them, by their very party affiliation, care a feather or a fig for America or our democratic ideals/republican form of government. They are all agenda driven by left-leaning political philosophies, which are ultimately hollow and devoid of meaning. As such, they believe in nothing but their own egos and self-aggrandizement. Anyone who votes for them does so because they mirror the same bankruptcy of thought as found and defined by the left. That means we’re looking at surfaces only when it comes to Democratic Presidential hopefuls.

So what floats the boat for all those sucker, oops, soccer moms and Alan Alda types? I hate to say it but if my ultra-liberal friends are any indication, it’s the “IT” Factor. I’m not referring to Information Technology either so sorry, Al Gore. I’m talking about “IT” as in Sex Appeal; as in looking good on the TV, as in being that virile, stud-muffin Kennedy type as exemplified by, who else, JFK and Mr. “Put some ice on that” Bill Clinton.

Without further to do I present the 9 and their “IT” Factor ratings with 1 being the lowest as in “I’m washing my hair that evening” and 10 being the highest as in “Take me, I’m yours”. With ladies first, it’s Ambassador Carol Moseley Braun, who may have a nice smile but that’s as far as it goes. She’s played the self-righteous race and sex cards so often that she’s a complete turn-off. Give her a rating of 2 on the “IT” Factor scale.

Governor Howard Dean of Vermont was the maverick darling of the media at one point but only because he’s the loudest lefty of the bunch. If you fancy living like a Canadian socialist, you’ll love his beefy, mad-cow style. Dean gets a rating of 6 on the “IT” Factor scale but that’s subject to how often he puts his hoof, er, foot in his mouth.

Senator John Edwards of North Carolina is boyishly charming but lacks a certain dignity when it comes to American foreign policy. Group dates may be fun but not a steady diet of them and you either end up going home alone, or participating in orgies. Edwards gets an “IT” Factor rating of 8.5 and would make a good Democratic Vice Presidential nomination.

Congressman Dick Gephardt of Missouri certainly did live up to his nickname with that DNC memo. Besides, who would go out with anyone without eyebrows or turns beet red when excited? Looks like Dick gets an “IT” Factor rating of 1.5.

Senator Bob Graham of Florida has that piggy, squinty look and clenched teeth smile of a high school brainiac addicted to science fiction. He also looks like the type who would demand extra attention from the waitress in a good restaurant then stiff her when it comes time to leaving a tip. Graham would probably be more comfortable in one of those beer joints where you can throw peanut shells on the floor. He gets an “IT” factor rating of 4 or maybe 5 if pitchers of beer and pretzels are your thing.

US Representative Dennis J. Kucinich of Ohio has a bad haircut and calls himself a progressive. That’s a code word for socialist and at least he’s more honest about his socialism than, say Gephardt. However, proclaiming your socialism is like being pointed out as the tallest building in Akron. It’s no big deal, merely a matter of degrees with this lot. Dennis gets a 4.5 on the “IT” Factor scale.

Reverend Al Sharpton should be ashamed of himself for that Tawana Brawley incident and any man who sports a page boy bob in this day and age needs a major make-over on the Montel Williams Show. Forget Al’s “IT” Factor rating. He owes me points.

Senator Joe “I’ll hedge my bets” Lieberman of Connecticut has a receding hairline and whiney voice. Honestly, who’d want to listen to that for four years? Besides, if he didn’t have enough faith in Al Gore to run solely as his Vice Presidential candidate in 2000, then what makes you think he wouldn’t dump you if something better came along? Joe gets an “IT” Factor rating of 3 for nostalgia’s sake.

Well, I’ve saved the best for last and that’s Senator John “You want some ketchup with those fries” Kerry of Massachusetts. Kerry has it all: The Kennedyesque good looks, the wet kisses from the news media, the Viet Nam Vet background, and he wraps himself in the US flag every chance he gets. Mark my words: He’ll get the 2004 Democratic nomination. I realized that in March when Vogue ran a glowing article on him complete with Kerry in a wet suit striding up the beach with surfboard tucked artfully under his arm. There was even a publicity picture of a young and dashing Kerry with John Lennon plastered on the Drudge Report’s front page last week. (As my husband said, “It’s amazing what you can do with PhotoShop.”) Kerry’s “IT” Factor rating is a good, solid 10. Pair Edwards up with him as his Vice President and you’ll have a pretty boy ticket to drive the Democrats mad in 2004.

Oh, just one last thing…and it’s such a little thing I almost hesitate to mention it. All of the 9 Democratic hopefuls’ campaign warchests added together do not equal what President Bush as amassed so far. People may be casual with their voting privileges but when they vote with their money, they’re serious.

The United States Is Being Overthrown By Our Politicians - "A silent but all-reaching coup is taking place within the United States. This coup is not being directed by bomb-laden Muslim terrorists, nor will it ever be covered by the mainstream media. The seditious act is being carried out by our very own elected officials, with President Bush leading the insurrection."
"The FDA has conveniently used the excuse of looking out for consumer safety to increase their perverse regulatory power, undermine free speech, disrupt commerce, and generally get in the way of helping people improve their health. The "half-truth" of the safety issue is used as a ploy to reduce the rights of Americans, one freedom at a time. Once again, the FDA is seeking more police power to intimidate supplement companies. This is one step in an overall FDA master plan to eliminate therapeutic nutritional supplements from the free market. Those who lose are the American public." The FDA - A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
