Senator Kerry, Why Are You Always "Misled?"
By Gordon Bloyer (08/03/04)
I have some questions for Senator John Kerry. How many times can one be wrong and still be qualified to be elected Commander-in-Chief?
Senator Kerry, in the 1980's you supported the nuclear freeze. You were proven to be wrong. Who misled you then?
Senator Kerry, when Iraq invaded Kuwait you voted against the war. That was a war that everyone now agrees was correct. Who misled you then?
Senator Kerry, during the Clinton years you made many speeches saying that Saddam Hussein needed to be removed and that he had weapons of mass destruction. Who misled you then? Bill Clinton?
Senator Kerry, during your many years in the Senate you voted against all the weapons systems being used in Iraq today. Who misled you then?
Senator Kerry, you voted to give President Bush the power to invade Iraq. You now claim President Bush misled you. Since you have been misled so many times, why should anyone vote for you for president?
Senator Kerry, you served four months in the Vietnam War. You did not protest that war while you were fighting it. Who misled you then? President Lyndon Johnson?
Senator Kerry, when you came back from the war you turned on your fellow soldiers. You called them war criminals. You joined a veterans group that turned out to have many members that never served anywhere. Who misled you then? Jane Fonda?
Senator Kerry, how many times have you been wrong on the major issues of the day? Oh, I’m sorry, how many times have you been MISLED? It is never your fault, is it?
Senator John Kerry, Commander in Chief? I’m not laughing.
