The Real Kerry Almost Stood Up!

It is getting harder and harder to tell what John Kerry’s position is on Iraq. Just last week the real John Kerry stood up, almost. On Tuesday he sounded like the anti-war protester that came back from Vietnam. He blamed America first. We were wrong to go to war in Iraq, even though not long ago he said just the opposite. He said we would get out of Iraq by the end of his first term, if elected. He was worried about how many troops were being killed.
The next day he sounded like General Patton. He would not leave without finishing the job. He had a four-point plan. The plan is the same one that President Bush is already implementing. He will say he can do it better, this from a guy that thinks he was on a secret mission in Cambodia. He says he did not vote FOR the war, he only voted to give the president the authority to go to war, IF the president followed all the conditions he listed in a speech after he voted? I don’t think the president got the memo that he had to get permission from the junior senator, John Kerry, before he could act.
This is not about getting out of Iraq. If all we had to do was leave Iraq and the terrorists would quit killing Americans, we would be out tomorrow. Does anyone think that the terrorists in Iraq would not try to kill Americans just because we are not in Iraq? Why did they fly the planes into the WTC? We weren’t in Iraq. Kerry said we made a mistake by not sealing the borders. Do you think these suicide bombers wouldn’t try killing the troops guarding the borders? There aren’t enough troops in the world to seal the borders of Iraq.
Kerry has said we have made Iraq a magnet for the terrorists. So, that sounds like a good deal to me. The terrorists are coming to us, where we can find them. If they were not in Iraq, we would have to go looking for them. Remember, these people are crazy, they will commit suicide to kill us. Do you think these zealots would just sit home and mind their sheep if we were not in Iraq?
The real John Kerry is a long haired, wind surfing, guitar playing, medal throwing, blame America first, anti-war activist. He wants to pull out of Iraq now, but he is afraid to say it. He wants to use American casualties as a scare tactic.
The truth is, even after we stabilize Iraq, we will still be fighting terrorists around the world for years to come. John Kerry and his accomplices in the media are stuck in a time warp and are still fighting Vietnam. The North Vietnamese never wanted to come to America to kill us. They did not want to commit suicide to defend themselves. Kerry and the media think we are in a quagmire in Iraq. They don’t recognize that we are in a world war against the terrorists and Iraq is just the current battlefield. What better battlefield is there? Do you want it in America? Do you want it in Syria or Iran? The American People are smarter than Kerry and our left-wing media. They know we have to win IN Iraq. They know we are in a world war. That is why Bush will be reelected. Maybe John Kerry is still on that secret mission in Cambodia.
