Kerry Is God!!

John Kerry is God and John Edwards is his prophet. At least that's what one would assume listening to John Edwards proclaim, "When John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going to walk, get up out of that wheelchair and walk again!" (See LINK below.) Shades of Elmer Gantry! These people have graduated from slimy politics to desperate lying and now to blasphemy. It is obvious that they will do anything, including giving handicapped people false hope, to gain power.
Before I go on, let me say that I believe God heals people today. I have seen Him do it. But I do not believe He will do it through allowing John Kerry to use cells from one living being to cure another.
Rush Limbaugh predicted that Kerry-Edwards would use the recent death of former Superman actor Christopher Reeve for political gain. But even he was surprised at how low the Democrat's campaign has sunk. "They used to wait till the body got cold before they moved in for the kill and exploited people like this. This is unconscionable.This is the party that loves to scare people to death about everything.This is fear mongering of the worst kind because there is no such evidence whatsoever that embryonic stem cells have a thing to do with regenerating the spinal cord."
The implication is clear. George Bush keeps people in wheelchairs because he refuses to allow babies to be created for the sole purpose of killing them for research. But God, incarnated in the person of John Kerry will make them all rise up and walk. Sell your stock in wheelchair companies because they will be out of business. They are playing to the fear of disabled people that a cure will never be found. They are raising false hope by claiming that Kerry will do what 30 years of intensive research has failed to do: figure out how to make spinal cord cells, the one type of cell that does not grow back after an injury, grow back. There is not a shred of evidence that cells from unborn babies will change this, but that doesn't stop these conscienceless political hacks from exploiting the pain and fear of the disabled.
Charles Krauthammer, the respected news commentator, is a wheelchair-bound paraplegic. He was outraged by Edwards' comments. "Well, no one really knows, one of the great mysteries in medicine is why the spinal cord does not regenerate, and no one has any idea of the answers, no one is in any way sure that we're going to learn the answer from stem cell research. We might, but I've heard a lot of hype over the last 30 years about the keys to the kingdom here in this issue and all of that have proved false. For Edwards to make the claim he did is the worst demagoguery I've heard in Washington in a quarter century. To imply that Christopher Reeve was kept in the wheelchair because of the policies of the Bush administration on stem cells is ridiculous and insulting."
But the Kerry-Edwards campaign doesn't stop there when it comes to insulting and demeaning the handicapped. The Kerry campaign headquarters in Ripley, Tennessee is distributing flyers that say, "Voting for Bush is like running in the Special Olympics: Even if you win, you're still retarded." The flyer pictures a Downs Syndrome child running with the typical arms-outstretched posture and the President's face superimposed on his body. (See LINK below.)
How insulting and demeaning this is to all the thousands of children who put their whole hearts into the competition at the Special Olympics events all over the nation. I have worked as a volunteer at these events, and have seen close up how important the Special Olympics are to these precious kids. And then we hear the Kerry campaign tell them, "Even if you train and work your little heart out, even if you win, you're still just a retarded kid." I heard one TV commentator say that Kerry is helping Bush with his ridiculous statements. Amen.
Speaking of ridiculous statements, during the debates we heard Kerry intone gravely, "There is a great possibility for a military draft if George Bush is reelected." Typical Democrat scare tactics. His chief flunky, Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe is busily spreading the same lie. George Bush has stated publicly that he is absolutely against a draft. To institute a draft after telling the nation the he will not would be political suicide.
What is more insidious about this particular lie is that it is premeditated. They have been planning this for months in hopes that they could hurt Bush with it in the last days before the election. Charlie Rangel, a DEMOCRAT, introduced legislation in the House a few months ago, while a DEMOCRAT colleague in the Senate did the same. Even though this was clearly a DEMOCRAT scheme to frighten people, and even though Rangel's attempt to reinstitute the draft was defeated, Kerry continues to lie to America, trying to convince us that Bush is behind the draft movement. The shame is that so many people are ill-informed that they will believe this pathological liar without ever checking the facts.
Other scare tactics the Democrats are using include the flu vaccine and an old standard, Social Security. Dems are fanning out all over the country trying to convince people that there is a flu vaccine emergency. The facts, according to Tommy Thompson, Secretary of Health and Human Services, are that:
1) Just two years ago, only 30 million people got flu shots. 2) The US government ordered 87 million doses. 3) In August, England informed us that a small percentage of the doses ordered from them were contaminated (Kerry and his cohorts are giving the impression that we knew all along that all the doses were bad) 4) Just last week England informed us that they were quarantining ALL the vaccine we had purchased from them. 5) We still have 56 million doses available. 6) Only the elderly, small children and the chronically ill really NEED the vaccine. The doses available are more than enough to fill that need. For healthy people, it is a convenience so we don't have to miss work; flu is not life-threatening for us.
Again, in the face of all the facts, the Dems are trying to scare the elderly to death by concocting a "flu vaccine emergency" and blaming Bush for it. Let's see, if Bush was guilty of all the Democrats accuse him of, he would be responsible for flu, people being in wheelchairs, the recent hurricanes, global warming, and much, much more.
I'm really getting tired of the Democrats trying to frighten the elderly by saying that Bush is going to take away their Social Security. My mother turns 90 today (Happy Birthday, Mom), and she has had to endure Democrat telemarketers calling her every election year to scare her about having her checks stopped. This is not only a malicious lie; it is particularly despicable because so many innocent elderly people are being frightened.
Kerry, who approves of this slimy campaign, knows full well that Bush has never even hinted about stopping or even reducing Social Security. What he HAS talked about is allowing YOUNG people to invest part of their own money in plans that would give far greater returns that the miserable 1.2% (see LINK below) the Social Security Trust fund generates. This plan could actually SAVE Social Security.
Of course, the Democrats want us to forget that they were the ones who passed a bill taxing Social Security for the first time since the system was founded. And Kerry wants us to forget that he supported the bill that created the recent 13% increase in Medicare costs. He claims it is Bush's fault. The fact is that Kerry helped pass the bill before Bush took office. Kerry is so obtuse that he lies about things like this which anyone can check out easily.
I would like to speak to both Kerry supporters and Bush supporters as I close. I will not waste time talking to the "undecided" because I don't believe they exist. If anyone is still undecided after all that we have seen from candidates, they are either dead (one of the biggest voting blocks for Democrats) or too ignorant to be allowed to vote.
To those who plan to vote for Kerry: If you win, you will be getting what you deserve. You will have a president who will put the "international will" over that of American citizens. He will give away our national sovereignty to the World Court. He will appoint judges who will take more and more power away from elected officials as they make laws themselves. He will remove all remaining protection for unborn children, making it easier to murder them than today. He will pander to every whim of the perverts, including homosexual marriage. And you will be responsible.
To those who plan to vote for Bush: Do it! Don't let anything (including apathy, thinking your vote doesn't matter, or polls) keep you away from the polls. In the last election a few hundred votes averted the disaster that would have been an Al Gore administration. A few votes could avert a disaster of much greater proportions. I do not feel I am being overly dramatic when I say that a Kerry win could be the beginning of the end of the freedom we enjoy today. Kerry can't stand up to his own wife. He most certainly will not be able to stand up to the terrorists as President Bush has done.
