What's Next? September 11th, The Musical?
By Jon Alvarez (05/24/04)
Have you heard the latest from the Oscar-winning director and self-promoter Michael Moore? His latest film, dealing with the events and history surrounding the attacks on America by Islamic terrorists on September 11th, 2001, IS A COMEDY! What's next? A Broadway musical? Sadly, with the high level of disrespect being shown towards a sitting American president by the media and entertainment industry, we would not be surprised.
Now, many Americans will obviously wonder what kind of sick and depraved person would put so much time and energy into making such a vile and anti-American film? Obviously a person who is embraced by those who share in a common hatred for the American President, George W. Bush. That list of Moore supporters would include the anti-war left, Democrats, Wesley Clark, most of Hollywood, and Muslim extremists.
Slowly word has gotten out about Michael Moore's efforts to sway votes against President Bush via his latest film, titled "Fahrenheit 9/11". PABAAH has been warning Americans about this since last year. While the media attention has focused on poor Michael Moore's failure to find a distributor for the American market, our attention has been focused on Michael Moore's passion for attacking and condemning our president and our country.
Based on Michael Moore's past history of lies and creative editing in his "documentaries" to support his own political agendas, his abuse of public platforms such as the one provided at the Academy Awards, we knew that "Fahrenheit 9/11" would be nothing more than a political hit piece. Our efforts to combat this have included flooding Disney and Miramax with emails and calls, as well as theatre chains across the country. As patriots, it is imperative to act to protect our country from all threats and this movie is a threat to our country. This film will further fan the flames of anti-American hatred across the globe and place all of us at further risk.
Michael Moore has crossed the line of protected free speech by advancing his insane theories that President Bush, thru past ties between business associates and Saudi Arabia, was in some way involved with or had prior knowledge of 9/11. America has waged two wars against these terrorist thugs as a direct result of these attacks on our beloved homeland. Michael Moore's efforts to destroy the Bush Presidency and the War on Terror are treasonous and tantamount to yelling "fire" in a crowded theatre. That is irresponsible and dangerous.
Democrats and certain 9/11 families decried the usage of references to the events of 9/11 in political ads. Will we see similar outcry relative to this sick and indecent film? The American public needs to speak out with a loud and clear voice via their wallets and say NO to Michael Moore and "Fahrenheit 9/11". We have begun contacting theatre chains to request that they not air this film, lest they face boycott of their theatre during the time they do show it. Several have already said they would not support it. Please, contact your local theatre and ask the manager to do the right thing and not carry this film.
