Everyone Voted For President Bush

We're going out on a limb here, but we predict that in four years you'll be hard pressed to find anyone willing to admit that they did not vote for President Bush. Yes, even Europeans will be saying, "I always supported him, didn't you?"
President Bush is still on the campaign trail. He's won convincingly here in the United States, but now he's out to win over the world and we think he'll do it. Yes, it will happen grudgingly at first and, unfortunately, our own press and leftist elites will be the last to cave in, but it will happen. While we are very proud to have Mr. Bush as our President, we know his real popularity lies in his beliefs and convictions, his willingness to frankly acknowledge the truth about the world, and his willingness to stand fast. These are very attractive characteristics to support.
Personally, he's charming and witty, endearing you might say. During his recent trip to Canada he expressed our nation's gratitude to those many Canadians for their hospitality and assistance to the 33,000 travellers stranded there right after the 9/11 attack. He joked with a reporter about looking for his lone Canadian supporter in 2000, Jean Poutine, who turned out to be a fictional character who apparently had them in stitches before that election. He joked about being greeted by people waving with "all five fingers." On a more serious note, he praised the Canadian military for their active role in defense of liberty in Afghanistan and around the world. He went further and praised their brave military during the First and Second World Wars. Many, on both sides of our common border, may not have realized that Canada got into both those fights before America did. Indeed it may have been the first time that the rising generation of Canadians heard about this. Makes one reconsider those old cliches that America is the warmonger and first into every war.
David Frum reported that he was deluged with calls, during President Bush's visit, from Canadian journalists who are not normally in favor of our president, marvelling at his "wit and charm." We think it's more than just wit and charm. It's the truth that he's bringing with him, and people the world over are beginning to listen. And while there were meager protests, there were also crowds cheering and clapping. Think about that! When was the last time you heard that about one of our President's foreign visits?
It's just the beginning. Europe is realizing their politically correct immigration policy is hurting them. The murder in broad daylight of van Gogh was a shock that reverberated throughout that continent and sparked immediate reprisals against Muslims in Holland. We see changes happening, slowly for sure, but positive changes. More Europeans are admitting they actually like Americans, it's just President Bush they object to. That's a step in the right direction. After all, you can't expect someone to suddenly admit they were wrong. In fact, we don't expect them to admit any such thing, we expect they will gradually change their mind and after say, about 4 years, they will be saying "I always supported President Bush and his foreign policy, didn't you?"
President Bush has always stood firm on the side of freedom and truth and because of that he will win over world opinion.
