Exposing Kennedy, Boxer, Et Al

It is no longer the Democratic party I once knew and loved. As a New York Jew aka "born Democrat" and now "former Democrat," I am truly embarrassed by the likes of Ted Kennedy and Barbara Boxer, the "yenta" from Brooklyn, who along with her friends, have ruined a once great social force.
America needs a viable two party system where both entities compete with each other to produce excellence. In their brilliance, the Founders understood that no matter who wins an election, goodness and decency must prevail and neither party should dominate overwhelmingly.
After the most recent election, some fools said that "America is a divided nation between red and blue states." This statement showed ignorance of Jeffersonian intentions which stressed capitalism/competition in politics. The two political parties would constantly improve by battling in the marketplace of ideas through an approximate 50/50 representation.
For the most part, this country is only divided on the details of how to improve social security, how to make gun control more efficient, how to minimize abortions, how to improve education and other how to's. Each party has their own path and Congress is all about "compromise" in the best sense of the word. Or does anyone actually think that George W. Bush has a great desire to drink polluted water with arsenic or have his grandchildren breathe poisoned air?
In the final analysis, we are totally united as Americans on most issues, abiding by the "E Pluribus Unum" maxym--"from many one." When Democrats and Republicans struggle on Capitol Hill creating issue gridlock, it usually helps fine tune the details.
However, when either party becomes purposely obstructionist because they have lost the American way, serious problems will arise. The old line Republicans had lost their way during the civil rights movement. The recent presidential nominee hearings are another example of American values gone awry. Enter Ted Kennedy, who has done more to damage America than virtually any senator in history. His psychosis emanates from the fact that he had three outstanding brothers, while he wallows in his own mediocrity.
The only way that Kennedy, Boxer, Kucinich, Waters, Lee, Byrd and others on the left can defeat the opposition is to show that the Bush administration is akin to the evil of Saddam. For these elite Democrats, Saddam's torture machine at Abu Ghraib was morally equivalent to the actions of 20 American soldiers in that same location.
To live with an anti-Iraq war position today, it is necessary to believe that America is as bad as the enemy. These politicians cannot face up to the fact that whether there were WMD's or not, the invasion of Iraq was a necessary element in the war on terror. Or would the Pakistanis and Khaddafi have caved in to Al Gore's charm?
There are senators and congress people who speak about underwear on Iraqi prisoners' heads as if it were actual torture. This same group was silent about beheadings by the enemy, but outspoken Constitutional defenders of terrorist rights at Guantanamo, which of course trumps America's safety. And have you caught the nastiness in the questioning by embittered old man Senator Carl Levin who seems ready to join his age and ethnic group in Boca Raton with the exorbitant pension he voted himself.
The Boxer/Kennedy/Leahy questioning was mean-spirited and racist with Leahy's comments to Gonzalez being particularly offensive--"the road you traveled is a tribute to you and your family." The implication by the senator in such a statement is that this incredible man (Gonzalez) obviously had more difficulty and lesser abilities than any comparable human being, which is particularly patronizing because the road to that prestigious position is quite difficult and complex for every single individual, no matter what their background.
For many Democrats today, blacks and other minorities are merely pets that are paraded around to show that the party of the "stylized donkey" is their only hope to success in life, and the only way they can be fed. Their greatest fear is represented by a Black or Hispanic Republican/Conservative, which is the essential reason that the "big, big" kahuna himself, Ted Kennedy, questioned Clarence Thomas as if he were a mass murderer.
The words "pubic hair" almost became grounds for capital punishment and was Kennedy's way of sweeping his Chappaquiddick misdeeds under the rug. Portraying thoroughly decent, talented people like Clarence Thomas and Condee Rice as atrocious is a common trick to show that the "good" senator is not such a bad guy either. And Condee Rice was not treated any better. The present Democratic leadership realizes that when minorities make it to high positions without their help, their party as we know it will go the way of the Edsel.
Pat Leahy is a buffoon to most Americans. The only way that someone like him or Howard Dean can get elected, is by running in a state where the good, decent people were overrun by Woodstock hippies of the sixties who infested Vermont shortly after listening to Jimi Hendrix and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
Most people do not realize that Leahy was elected with a little over 200,000 votes. The president of Hell's Angels receives a greater plurality. There are more people in various neighborhoods where I grew up in Brooklyn, than in all of Vermont. Therefore, the elections of Leahy, Dean and Bernie Sanders (I) are along the lines of college class president in terms of popular vote.
The strategy of the Kennedy Klan (sic) including Robert Byrd, Maxine Waters and Sheila Jackson Lee is to continuously portray the Bush administration as evil by comparing them with bad guys--American torture vs. Iraqi torture, invasion for no reason vs. invasion for Kuwait, Bush/Rumsfeld rights abuse vs. Saddam rights abuse.
The wonderful true centrist Democrats like Zell Miller and Joseph Lieberman have been cast aside to the relief of most Republicans. That would be one fearful ticket in 2008. When a party allows a huckster like Al Sharpton to run for president, it is in deep trouble. The Republicans did not permit David Duke, the right equivalent of Reverend Al, to use its good name.
To the Democratic party leadership who have been screaming, "Bring Our Boys Home," the answer is "Our Boys Are Already Home.... and Our Men Are In Iraq." Our boys are in academia, our boys are in college, our boys are in graduate school learning from despicable leftist professors that America is evil. Just like this latest moron from the University of Colorado, Ward Churchill. If we listen to his hate speech and lies against the current administration, it confirms that we certainly elected the right guy!
