IS TED KENNEDY A TRAITOR?
By Gordon Bloyer (07/04/05)
Let us get something straight. You are NOT unpatriotic or anti-American if you oppose the war in Iraq because you are a pacifist or you have different ideas on how to fight the war.
If you oppose the war because Iraq never did anything to us, or it is not connected to 9/11 (nobody in the administration said it was), or Bush said “mission accomplished” (I will give anyone a million dollars that can find those words in Bush’s speech on the USS Lincoln) or it is a war for oil, or we are killing innocent people, or because it is government policy to torture people in Abu Ghraib and Cuba, or Bush wanted to give money to Haliburton, or because the war is illegal, or because Bush lied, then you are a fool. None of these things are true; they are lies created by liberals and the left-wing media to undermine support for the war. These lies are not a point of view or an opinion, they are LIES.
If you spread these lies you ARE unpatriotic and anti-American and you ARE undermining the people fighting in Iraq and you do NOT support the troops. In MY opinion you are committing TREASON. Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy and Howard Dean look in the mirror, do you see a traitor?
We are in Iraq because Saddam Hussein LIED. Saddam Hussein violated 17 U.N. resolutions. Saddam Hussein violated the cease-fire agreement he signed at the end of the first Gulf War. He WAS trying to kill American flyers by shooting at our aircraft. Saddam Hussein did not PROVE that he did not have weapons of mass destruction as was HIS obligation (not George Bush’s) under the agreement. The United States does not need the permission of the U.N., France or Germany to defend itself. When Hussein violated the agreement ANYTHING we did was LEGAL. We would be at war with these terrorists if 9/11 never happened.
We are in a war with suicidal terrorists. They should take a warning from one of the great war songs of all time,
So prepare, say a prayer,
Send the word, send the word to beware.
We'll be over, we're coming over,
And we won't come back
Till it's over over there.
The Yanks are coming and if that includes Syria, Iran and North Korea so be it. We are in a war for our very existence and those that do not recognize it will commit the American people to a life of fear and death from suicide bombers. We MUST kill them where they are, now.
