Hillary shows her true colors

Our friends over at blogsagainsthillary posted a pretty good example of what Hillary Clinton thinks of her husband's new friend likening him to Alfred E. Newman.
2008 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton blasted her husband's good friend President Bush on Sunday, comparing him to the pathetic Mad Magazine cover boy, Alfred E. Newman.
"I sometimes feel that Alfred E. Newman is in charge in Washington," Clinton chided during a speech to Colorado's Aspen Ideas Institute.
The crowd erupted in laughter when she described Bush's attitude toward tough issues with Newman's catchphrase: "What, me worry?"
According to the Aspen Times, Sen. Clinton "accused Bush of undermining the national economy with deficit spending and huge tax cuts for the wealthy; endangering U.S. soldiers by not giving them the proper equipment to fight the war in Iraq; and harming the nation's historic role as a leader in scientific research and technological innovation by slashing funding for such efforts."
In a bit of political dissembling, the top Democrat insisted, "There has not yet been one net job created in the last four years" - a claim contradicted by economic statistics.
In another slam at Bush's economic stewardship, Clinton called the U.S. the "largest debtor nation the world has ever known."
This does show that she doesn't forget her moveon.org line of thought. Which is good to remember for the voting public. You'd think Hillary would want to hide that.
