Pirro to take on Hillary for Senate in 2006

Jeanine Pirro will announce today that she intends to run against Hillary Clinton for the Senate seat. Her first statement was a clear attack on Hillary but it was two fold. It didn't have anything to do with her intentions, or her policies. Pirro instead attacked Hillary saying she's attempting to use the senate for a springboard to the presidency, insinuating Hillary doesn't intend to fulfill her duties if she wins. This could play an important role in 2008, regardless of the Senatorial election in 06.
The fact that this is two women isn't strange. The reasoning behind choosing Jeanine Pirro is though. Of 62 chairmen 46 asked Pirro to run. Her plans include stops in Albany, Buffalo, New York City, Rochester, Syracuse and Utica tomorrow to announce her intentions. She has a great mindset and a solid conservative for the state of New York would put a promising outlook on the state.
If this is played right, Pirro could be a great tool for the Republicans nationally. Even if she can't outright win the election she can bring enough focus on Hillary to point out the obvious. Of course Hillary considers this 'an attack' on her, but what criminal wouldn't? When there's so much to work with, it's just easier to come up with a blanket answer like that. No sense in actually answering.
I know there are a lot of people outside of the state of New York that are pulling for her to win the election of the Democratic Hillary. The polls still show Hillary ahead, but they showed John Kerry ahead too.
