Clinton conundrum - What everyone already knows will hurt you

Hillary has plenty of female supporters, there's no question about that. But the problem is, most of Hillary's recognition is a result of her husband's work. It has nothing to do with her, or anything she's done. Hillary doesn't speak of when Bill 'ran the country', she speaks of when 'Bill and she' ran the country. We know she had nothing to do with Bill's success or failures. Instead she could focus on what she did during those 8 years. Can we see a list of her accomplishments? Surely we're hearing about them. The best way to gather support would be to list the things you've achieved in the same area as what you're running for. That's a difficult task when you're Hillary Clinton. She has the most recognizable name of any politician hands down. She also comes with an overwhelming load of baggage.
As has been mentioned here before, Hillary does great when the polls as generalizing, non specific questions. She's always on top. Unfortunately for her those numbers drop drastically as soon as any particulars are introduced. Her numbers also falter significantly when people as asked if they trust her to lead us through Iraq. This is a clear indication that while she's got name recognition, she's failed to convince most people that she's sincere, and strong enough to manage the difficult tasks she'd need to handle as president. For a country to be secure in their leader they need to either be convinced the person has integrity and lots of it, or a proven track record. Hillary has neither. While it's true her record as a junior Senator shows as a central majority, her weak stance on terrorism and lack of any substantial achievements are going to hurt her.
Hillary is already making preparations for failure. She's already opened the door to bailing out of the 06 Senate race. Is there really any question as to why? Pirro has made it clear she intends to force Hillary to answer for her actions. The main question is how much can she do for New York as an active presidential candidate?
Remember people, Peewee Herman had name recognition as well. It takes more than that to gain the trust of this nation. A lot more.
