How To Destroy America
"Government is not a solution to our problem[s],
government is the problem." -- Ronald Reagan

It's Time to Worry about Global COOLING

"...an utterly corrupt new religion called environmentalism..."
If the history of this planet's climate over millions of years is any guide, we are about to enter a new ice age.

CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper indicated in a 1993 interview with the Minneapolis Star Tribune that he wants to see the United States become a Muslim country.
Dr. Condoleezza Rice for President
By R J Rummel (08/25/05)

I endorse Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for President in 08. She has the knowledge, experience, will, organizational ability, values, and the spine to be president. And she is an avid supporter of the democratic peace and freedom.

Consider her speech before the Science Politique in Paris in February, in which she said:
Time and again in our shared history, Americans and Europeans have enjoyed our greatest successes for ourselves and for others when we refuse to accept an unacceptable status quo but instead put our values to work in the service of freedom . . . .

Borders between countries cannot be peaceful if tyrants destroy the peace of their societies from within. States where corruption and chaos and cruelty reign invariably pose threats to their neighbors, threats to their regions, and potential threats to the entire international community. . . .

We on the right side of freedom's divide have an obligation to help those unlucky enough to have been born on the wrong side of that divide. . . .

. . . the fair wind of freedom is at our back. Freedom is spreading from the villages of Afghanistan to the squares in Ukraine, from the streets in the Palestinian territories to the streets of Georgia, to the polling stations of Iraq. . . .

Freedom defines our opportunity and our challenge. It is a challenge that we are determined to meet. . . .

Freedom unlocks the creativity and drive that produces genuine wealth. Freedom is the key to incorruptible institutions. Freedom is the key to responsive government. . . .

When the president spoke at Whitehall in London, he talked about 60 years of trying to buy stability at the expense of freedom, and getting neither. . . .

In our time, we have an historic opportunity to shape a global balance of power that favors freedom and that will therefore deepen and extend the peace. . . .

If we make the pursuit of global freedom the organizing principle of the 21st century, we will achieve historic global advances -- for justice and prosperity, for liberty and for peace.

Then there was the impressive speech she gave at the April Ministerial meeting of the Community of Democracies:
There comes a time when the spark of freedom flashes in the minds of all oppressed people, and they raise their voices against tyranny. The Community of Democracies must match the bravery of these men and women with the courage of our own convictions. We on the right side of freedom’s divide have an obligation to help those on the wrong side of that divide. . . .

To advance our democratic consensus, all free nations must insist that upholding democratic principles is the surest path to greater international status. . . . The democratic character of states must become the cornerstone of a new, principled multi-lateralism. The real division in our world is between those states that are committed to freedom, and those who are not. International organizations like the Community of Democracies can help to create a balance of power that favors freedom. . . .

Today, our citizens share the common bond of having overcome tyranny through all our commitment to freedom and democracy, now it is our historic duty to tell the world that tyranny is a crime of man, not a fact of nature. Our goal must always be the elimination of tyranny in our world. We, at the Community of Democracies must use the power of our shared ideals to accelerate democracies movement, to ever more places around the globe. We must usher in an era of democracy that thinks of tyranny as we thought of slavery today, a moral abomination that could not withstand the natural desire of every human being for a life of liberty and of dignity: This is our great purpose, together we will succeed.

Note that she calls terrorists terrorists, unlike the major media; has thrown out stability; refuses to emphasize the UN or multilateral diplomacy; places the emphasis on freedom, as it is for Bush; and
believes that promoting freedom promotes peace. She is thus a willing and able engineer of the freedom train.

Finally, in firm control of the State Department, she has moved to reorient State from its day-by-day reactive diplomacy and letting-sleeping-dogs-lie to one of proactive support for democratic freedom. She has recognized that the policy of supporting dictators to maintain stability has failed and that it was time for them to democratize. For example, in a June 20 speech in Egypt, she told an audience of 1,000, "Now, the Egyptian government must put its faith in its own people. We are all concerned for the future of Egypt's reforms when peaceful supporters of democracy, men and women, are not free from violence. The day must come when the rule of law replaces emergency decrees, and when the independent judiciary replaces arbitrary justice . . . . Egypt's elections, including the parliamentary elections, must meet objective standards that define every free election ... International election monitors and observers must have unrestricted access."

As reported by Barbara Slavin in USA Today:
Rice rebuked the Mubarak government for beating up pro-democracy demonstrators. She criticized another U.S. ally, Saudi Arabia, for jailing three intellectuals who sought political change. She called Syria a "police state." And she rejected last week's presidential elections in Iran, which included seven candidates approved by the clerical leadership. A runoff is scheduled for Friday. "The appearance of elections does not mask the organized cruelty of Iran's theocratic regime," Rice said.

Does she have a chance to be nominated? Yes, as reported by Crystal Dueker on her American's for Dr. Riceweb site:
Forbes (August 15) gave Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice more world status by naming her "the most powerful woman in the world". The reporters told that with the worldwide headlines of Secretary Rice and her influence on US policy, she is the most important political woman, (Hillary is at only 24 on the list).

Add her cover appearance on AARP in the United States, sent to millions of older retired citizens, and you will see millions of people are reading about her. The AARP story was written by a woman who has a long friendship with Condi, and was interviewing Condi's father at the time he had a heart attack. (You can go to americansforrice.com to read it.)

[And] the August 15 issue of Time magazine has a major story about the "Condi Doctrine". She has taken over the state department, put her people in place to help her achieve goals, and stood up to Rumsfeld on policy for the Middle East and representative government which also includes women.

Our efforts in speaking to reporters in the US and international interviews with reporters from Japan, Germany, and Australia have kept her in the headlines. The latest USA Today/CNN/Gallup poll shows Condi at 18% (Rudy 28% and McCain at 24%) puts her as a top contender for 2008. That is ahead of Frist at 8%, or other Senators Allen, Brownback, Hagel, and Santorum. She is heads above Governors Huckabee or Pataki or Owens or Barbour.

Yes, Condi Rice for president. For a democratic peace and freedom's sake, we could do no better.

"Mexico, Canada partnership underway with no authorization from Congress"

The United States Is Being Overthrown By Our Politicians - "A silent but all-reaching coup is taking place within the United States. This coup is not being directed by bomb-laden Muslim terrorists, nor will it ever be covered by the mainstream media. The seditious act is being carried out by our very own elected officials, with President Bush leading the insurrection."
"The FDA has conveniently used the excuse of looking out for consumer safety to increase their perverse regulatory power, undermine free speech, disrupt commerce, and generally get in the way of helping people improve their health. The "half-truth" of the safety issue is used as a ploy to reduce the rights of Americans, one freedom at a time. Once again, the FDA is seeking more police power to intimidate supplement companies. This is one step in an overall FDA master plan to eliminate therapeutic nutritional supplements from the free market. Those who lose are the American public." The FDA - A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
