Tom, Dick And Harry

Tom and Dick got married last week in San Francisco. They are very happy. They found a city where the Mayor and the City Clerk care nothing about the law. Two months from now they will not be so happy. You see, they both like Harry, and want him to be part of their "marriage." And why not?
William Donohue, president of the Catholic League, brought this point home forcefully on a television interview last week. Once liberals have destroyed the only definition of marriage that has been recognized by all cultures throughout the existence of mankind, what's to stop them from further perverting the institution?
I received an email this week from a representative of a homosexual organization in which he suggested that the law should allow any consenting people, INCLUDING CHILDREN, to enter into marriage without interference. I'm sure the ACLU would get behind that. They receive millions of dollars in donations from homosexual activists dedicated to destroying the family. Besides, the ACLU lawyers as a group are philosophically inclined to support anything that attacks traditional values.
So, if marriage is not defined as one man with one woman, what is wrong with group marriages? Why shouldn't Tom, Dick and Harry be allowed to marry one another? Maybe Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O'Donnell could find a third celebrity lesbian and become famous as the first three-way marriage of TV degenerates.
But why stop there? If three is OK, why not four or five? Of course, it would become a problem for insurance companies. Which man is the widow? Do health insurers give spousal benefits to only the first "significant other"? What if all three or four (or five) got married in one ceremony in some "church" that allows such sin? Perhaps the benefits could go to the oldest pervert.
What about pets? Some people really love their pets. Why should they be discriminated against? If marriage is not the union of one man and one woman, why not allow a woman to wed her German shepherd? What is wrong with a man marrying a chimpanzee? After all, the evolutionists say that are almost human.
I know all this sounds sick, but believe me friends, these people ARE sick. The homosexuals and lesbians put on a happy face for the world and tell us that they are just like regular people - with one small exception. They just happen to like people of their own gender. In public they look like most of us. But behind closed doors they do things that would make most of us vomit.
In fact, over the last few years they have been doing things in public that make me want to vomit. Because righteous people don't speak out against it, they have gotten so bold that they perform unbelievable acts in public places. I wouldn't allow my family to walk down the street in most of San Francisco because of the perversion they would observe there. Disney allows a homosexual festival at their park every year, which features men dressed in women's lingerie French-kissing one another on the streets.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS NATION? Why has our president not spoken out strongly against this? Why did it take the governor of California over a week to take the weak step of telling the attorney general of the state to do something? Why hasn't the mayor of San Francisco been arrested?
It is simple. The politicians are AFRAID of the homosexual activists. Homosexuals make up less than 1% of this nation, but they have convinced America through "experts" sympathetic to their movement that they are 10% of the population. Even if that were true - even if 50% were homosexuals - it is still wrong! It is still sin.
But the politicians fear them because being militant activists means that they are very shrill and very loud. They make a lot of noise, and politicians fear that. Homosexuals have shouted down politicians making speeches. They have disrupted church services by shouting filth and frightening women and children.
So they have become bolder. After the Mayor of San Francisco declared that it was OK for an elected official to break the law because he considers it "civil disobedience", we heard from the Mayor of Chicago. He didn't want Chicago to be out-liberaled by San Francisco, so he announced that he would not oppose such law-breaking. This was followed by a clerk of the court in Arizona issuing marriage licenses to homosexuals. She stated that it was obvious that this trend was going to spread nation-wide, and she wanted to be "ahead of the curve".
Our "leaders" need to realize that leadership does not mean occupying their office and enjoying its perks. Leadership means LEADING. This travesty will cost California taxpayers millions of dollars in lawsuits if these "marriages" are eventually declared null and void. If they are allowed to stand, it will cost America much more than money.
Marriage is the basic building block of society. The institution is already in jeopardy because of no-fault divorces and the pressure high taxes place on the finances of families. Too many Americans already view marriage as being temporary until they tire of their partner. Add to that sorry situation millions of homosexual "marriages" and marriage is dead. All legitimate studies show that most homosexuals are incapable of prolonged monogamy. The vast majority of homosexuals in "committed relationships" admit to numerous affairs, far more than among heterosexual couples.
As I have said many times before, God does not hate homosexuals, nor do Bible-believing Christians. God does hate their sin, which He declares to be an "abomination" and against nature itself. It is not just man's laws that are being broken by these petty local officials who issue marriage licenses to same sex-couples. Far more important, they are breaking God's law.
We have stood by and watched our school systems force children to listen to homosexual and bisexual "teachers" tell them homosexuality is just another lifestyle, as valid as heterosexuality. We have allowed activist homosexuals to bully our politicians into giving them special rights that normal people in this nation do not enjoy. This is the last straw. This is where we must take our stand. If we allow this perversion of marriage to go unchallenged, we will have lost America.
