Seth MacFarlane: Historical Illiterate
Progressivism piece by Warner Todd Huston
(5/5/10)
“Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane proves once again that while the denizens of Hollywood might be good at acting, or singing, or TV and movie making, they most certainly have no clue about history or contemporary politics. They are utterly illiterate about the world around them because of the insular bubble in which they live. In a recent interview(1) reported by Reuters, the insufferable MacFarlane proves himself to be el stupido on the recent Arizona illegal immigrant law.
US beats many European Countries in the Spending Arena
Government piece by Kevin Price
(5/5/10)
We all realize that different types of governments cost various amounts to run. Those in which the government does less, typically have stronger financial portfolios. Those in which the government does more have much weaker financial pictures.

Promise that higher taxes will “protect education” rings hollow
EdukShun piece by GoldwaterInstitute:
Starlee Rhoades (5/4/10)
In two weeks, Arizona voters will decide if we should raise the state sales tax by 18 percent. We’re being told this money will “protect education.“ We’ve been down this road before and it didn’t work out the way we were promised.
Does anyone really care anymore….
National Security piece by Guest:
Carolyn Hileman (5/4/10)
The president is spending so much time trashing an oil company that lost eleven of their workers that his administration has failed to keep us safe, if not for failed bombs this weekend and during Christmas the death toll would have outnumbered that of the BP explosion and the damage to the environment more stunning then that of an oil spill. However the president seeing the death of eleven men and the explosion of an oil rig as a chance to further his agenda on cap and trade has chosen to focus all of his attention on that. Yes, the oil spill is serious and yes it will cause problems for the fishermen and wildlife but I can assure you they did not intentionally try to kill their coworkers and damage the environment although the terrorists did.
A Revolution in Science and Religion
Science piece by Guest:
Noel S. Williams (5/4/10)
When I stumbled out of bed on 30 March 2010 I had no inkling one of the greatest days in science had dawned. I trudged off to work unaware that momentous experiments had just begun at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research.
Politically-correct Liberal Morons Are Killing America!
Progressivism piece by Gordon Bishop
(5/4/10)
I’m fed up with politically correct liberal morons making stupid policy and federal laws that are killing our U.S. Constitution, which is the Foundation of our American Society.
God’s opinion of you lasts forever
Religion piece by Guest:
Marsha West (5/4/10)
A Christian friend of mine is reading one of Joyce Meyer’s books. If you haven’t heard of Meyer, she is a popular health and wealth author/radio and TV teacher/conference speaker who believes God is our sugar daddy. The evangelist has been criticized for her “conspicuously prosperous lifestyle.“ According to my friend, Joyce’s books are “uplifting.“ She didn’t like hearing that some of her favorite author’s teaching is theological heresy. To my friend’s way of thinking, if a book makes you feel good, doctrine isn’t all that important.
A US Constitution for the 21st Century!
Constitution piece by J. D. Longstreet
(5/4/10)
The push for a new constitution for the United States of America has begun.
What is a ‘Reagan Conservative?‘
Politics piece by Kevin Price
(5/4/10)
Ronald Reagan became President at a time when the US had become accustomed to being a second rate power and had found itself well on its path towards socialism. The media hated the man and dismissed him as an intellectual lightweight, a “Neanderthal” in his foreign policy, and “Draconian” in his policies toward the poor. In spite of this, he was one of the most popular Presidents in US history. He loved freedom and conveyed optimism at a time most Americans were suffering from government created malaise.
‘Could MLB Strikeout Arizona’s Immigration Law?‘
Culture Wars piece by Aaron Goldstein
(5/4/10)
The biggest obstacle facing Arizona’s much maligned new immigration law is not that it could be struck down by the Supreme Court but rather that it could be struck out by Major League Baseball.

‘What Is Presidential Intellect?‘
Elections piece by Malcolm T. Hedges
(5/3/10)
Presidential Intellect is fine, but I must ask, is Intellect more important than Common Sense?
Species Safe Even if World Warms
Global Warming piece by Guest:
Dennis T. Avery (5/3/10)
Churchville, VA - Biologists are again predicting massive species losses as the world warms. But where are the corpses? There have been few findings of extinctions among continental bird and mammal species over the past 500 years. The species extinctions have been virtually all on islands, as humans have brought such alien predators as rats, cats, and Canadian thistles to places where they had no natural enemies.
Ariz. Immigration Critics Following Liberal Tradition
Immigration piece by Offsite
(5/3/10)
“Physician, heal yourself,“ said the founder of the church in which Roger Mahony is a cardinal. He is the Catholic archbishop of Los Angeles and he should heed the founder’s admonition before accusing Arizonans of intemperateness.
Kansas Raises Taxes by $434 Million
Taxes piece by Offsite
(5/3/10)
The Kansas Senate Ways and Means committee passed a $434 million tax package on Friday. House Bill 2360, which carries these tax increases was passed 8-4.
Still Clinging to Guns and God!
The Republic piece by Thomas D. Segel
(5/3/10)
Harlingen, Texas, May 3, 2010: Just think about it for a moment. You and I make up about the only class of people in the United States that can be ridiculed, maligned, misquoted, threatened, denied, and dammed by the secular left with impunity. In addition, we are the only class of people who can have those misrepresentations of our character and actions celebrated by a vast number of our fellow Americans.
Bashing Arizona Immigration Law Supporters
Progressivism piece by Offsite
(5/3/10)
The Religious Left has discerned that Christianity and Judaism demand virtually open borders by the United States, if not by other nations. So naturally, many liberal church elites have quickly and angrily lashed out at Arizona’s new immigration law, ascribing to its backers the contempt that much of the Religious Left seems itself to have for many average Americans.
California’s Book Ban
EdukShun piece by Offsite
(5/3/10)
State Senator Leland Yee, a liberal San Francisco Democrat, wants to bar California from adopting any new material from curriculum changes in Texas, which he and other critics view as right-wing revisionism. Though much publicized, the charge fails to stand up, but some textbooks do need correction. Those would be California textbooks, and this is not a new problem.
China Will Crash Within a Year
Economics piece by Offsite
(5/3/10)
The Chinese economy is due for a major cooling and may even tank by year’s end, says investment guru Marc Faber.
Hold 2012 Republican Convention in Phoenix
Politics piece by Offsite
(5/3/10)
If the Republican Party really wants to win the election this year, it must take a stand to rally the majority of Americans who increasingly oppose Obamanism and want the Constitution, an opportunity society and a free-market economy restored in America. In the face of calls for the boycott of all things Arizonan, the RNC should immediately award the 2012 Republican National Convention to Phoenix, Ariz.
Totalitarian Collectivism Part 7 - MEDIA
Information piece by Guest:
SARTRE (5/3/10)
Totalitarian Collectivism could not exist without the active involvement and implicit deceit of the media. If you believe that the media writes the first draft of history, you must also accept that journalism is the prime distorter of facts, truth and honesty. Free speech is the soul of authentic reporting and unfeigned chronicled accounts of events. The tradition of candid expression of thoughts and interpretation is central to western civilization.
Obama and the Elephants in the USA’s Living Room
ObamaNation piece by Sher Zieve
(5/3/10)
The following column is not a fairy tale. I only wish that it were. Some years ago, an advertisement against alcoholism ran on television. In the Ad, an elephant was depicted bumping into and breaking furniture in a living room while the resident occupants ignored it. But eventually, try as they might, they could not. Suffice it to say, the Ad depicted Americans’ reluctance to deal with severe and glaringly obvious problems within their families. But, try as we will, eventually elephants can and will no longer be ignored.
A Government of Fallible Men to Rule Fallible Men
Progressivism piece by Robert R. Owens
(5/3/10)
In America today a debate rages concerning the legitimate role of government. Currently the Federal Government is controlled by a group of politicians who consider themselves the ideological descendants of the Progressive Movement. Beginning in the 1890’s the Progressives led by Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson championed the idea that it was time to progress past America’s old ways of doing things. They felt the traditions, forms, and style of American governance and society should break-out of the mold provided by the Constitution by casting it as a “living Breathing Document” that could be remolded to meet the desires of every generation.
Almost a Thousand Major Scientists Dissent from Darwin!
Science piece by Don Boys, Ph.D.
(5/3/10)
A major storm of protest against the myth of evolution has been building for many years, as proved by almost a thousand major scientists, all with doctorates who have signed on to the following statement as of 2010: “We are skeptical of claims for the ability of random mutation and natural selection to account for the complexity of life. Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be encouraged.“
‘Will Arizona Secede?‘
The Republic piece by J. D. Longstreet
(5/3/10)
I have no idea if Arizona will make an attempt at secession, or not. If they do, it will not be the first time. You see, back in 1861 Arizona chose to become a part of the old Confederacy during the War Between the States. You may read the Arizona Ordinance of Secession HERE(1).
A Tale of Two Protests
Progressivism piece by Jayme Evans
(5/3/10)
The Tea Party Movement has known for a long time that coverage of their protests has held a decidedly liberal bias. That biased coverage is a damning indictment of the editors and publishers of mainstream media programming and publications who cannot be trusted to deliver anything close to the truth and who often manufacture the news with the goal of influencing public opinion, rather than fact-finding.

Angry, hateful, violent, extremist liberals
Anarchy/MobRule piece by Offsite
(5/2/10)
Imagine a group of angry demonstrators toting swastika-festooned protest signs calling politicians Nazis, shouting obscenities and racial remarks and throwing rocks and bottles at police officers sent to keep order. No, these are not Tea Partiers. They are the mob that turned out last week to protest Arizona’s new immigration-enforcement law. This group of liberal rowdies has been dubbed the Tequila Party.
Michigan Firemen Setting Fires Over Union Anger
Unions piece by Warner Todd Huston
(5/2/10)
Why was this story not national news? Outrageously, firemen in Flint, Mich. went about the city ‘setting fires’(1) instead of putting them out last month and all because their union wasn’t happy with job layoffs. In a vain attempt to stop the layoffs, these union criminals went around setting fires to try and scare Flint’s residents in order to goad them to tell city officials to rescind the layoffs.
Kill the welfare state, Part 2
Welfare State piece by Offsite
(5/2/10)
In my last column, I gave a historical overview of how the welfare state was purposely and systematically entrenched into American law, culture and society by the Progressive Movement, the Democratic Party and by liberal pressure groups that hate America, via FDR’s “New Deal” programs of the 1930s and ‘40s and LBJ’s “Great Society” programs of the 1960s.
Myopic Utopianism
Bird-Brain Flu piece by Guest:
Robert Rohlfing (5/2/10)
The myth that a perfect state of Utopia could ever become a reality through Social Justice or any other misguided doctrine has a long litany of hurdles to overcome before even a small fraction of what many have been led to believe to be the end product of such ideology. In the long course of human history this theory has been attempted countless times going back to the beginning where it failed from the start in the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden where by all rights the story of a perfect Utopia failed through the misgivings and sins of human nature, this story is repeated through all religious teachings from all denominations in one form or another and goes to prove that we as humans no matter how much we would like for this state to exist will never be realized.
U.S. promoting ‘North American’ climate change plan
NAU/SPP piece by Offsite
(5/2/10)
State Department says 3 governments join to address environmental issue - The U.S. State Department has announced a “North American” plan to attack so-called “climate change,“ releasing a statement in praise of a continental effort to “phase down” hydrofluorocarbons.
