And you dare call us racists
  Demercrats piece by Guest: Carolyn Hileman

We have seen the race card played so many times this past year it is ridiculous, if we don’t fall in line lockstep with the democrats and give the president his Christmas wish list it cannot be because we disagree with them on policy, no we are racists. Senator Reid compared those of us who are against the healthcare bill to those who opposed ending slavery and those who did not want women to vote, funny thing is it was his party that did what he is accusing us of.  Sen. Strom Thurmond, then a Democrat, unsuccessfully tried to filibuster the Civil Rights Act of 1957 and it was Republicans who led the charge against slavery. The problem is the democrats own the media, they run our schools and they can rewrite history any time they want and they do so on a regular basis.

I understand senator Reid is under a lot of pressure to pass this bill by the White House and even more pressure from his constituents not to, but to say that we are like the slave owners of the past, that we just do not want people to get ahead is a lie, it is offensive and I for one am sick and tired of these lies and innuendos from the democrats. So today we are going to set the record straight. It is the conservatives, not the democrats who want people to get ahead in this country, by hard work and education. No they will not be the ones offering you a hand out but a hand up, you see, the democrats for all their talk about the conservatives being racist and comparing them to slave owners it is the democrats who keep the people down they are the ones who enslave generations of families with food stamps and welfare by telling them over and over again that they cannot do any better, they wrap the chains of inadequacy around the peoples necks and yank it any time they think the slaves might rise up.

The slaves are so grateful that their masters have decided to give them a dollar more they do not know enough to be offended by their hand outs. You see, some one some where at some time told these people they were not worth anything, that they could not think or do for themselves and they kept repeating it until finally the slaves believed it. No they don’t use a whip anymore why that would be illegal, no they use words, and they set them up for failure. When my kids were in elementary school they had to take the standardized tests and we would get home a note that basically said that since the black kids were not expected to do well on these test they could be exempt. What does that tell you? It tells me that they have already decided that child was going to fail, they did not wish to expend the energy or the money it would take to get them to level they could pass the test, no we would not want to give them the same education we are the white kids now do we, we want to let them off the hook, let them fail, another democrat slave in the making.

Senator Reid you really want to discuss slavery, tell us what your party has ever done to lift up the blacks out of poverty much less the whites, the brown, the Asians, come on tell us what you have done to make these people feel proud of them selves, rather than helpless and hopeless… Your party has done nothing over the years but enslave them further in the name of your party. You like them weak, you like them injured, you like them waiting for that check in the mail, you love it when they fail because then you can run to their rescue and give them yet another reason to be ashamed. If they manage to escape their slavery you call them Uncle Tom’s and you dare call us racists.
