Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. - Winston Churchill

‘What Is Presidential Intellect?‘
Elections piece by Malcolm T. Hedges

Presidential Intellect is fine, but I must ask, is Intellect more important than Common Sense?

Since the 60’s it seems that Intellect has been become defined by edukshun. Education no longer exists and has been replaced by edukshun.

Edukshun is the modern Progressive scheme to program every student to blindly embrace Socialism.

IQ is a tested measurement that has no relation to Common Sense. (I once tested at an IQ of 142, but it had nothing to so with ability to think.).

Moving back to the 30’s, Intellect(implied by education) has never been a valid measure of Common Sense.

Education way back then had more teeth and actually required acquiring working knowledge of the subjects.

However, never has Common Sense been a test for Graduation from any Institution of learning,

Political advantage and progress has never been honestly tied to Intellect, it is based on Political Common Sense.

Political Common Sense is a basically stupid term because Politics is driven by everything but Common Sense. It is driven by a quest for power.

Politicians feed on the way the people perceive their announced positions(true or not).

Personally, I would like to be able to support a candidate that is honest and has some Common Sense.

Ok, this is very hard to find. To hell with Intellect, what matters is being able to do the job!

As the USA has evolved and the state of the nation, various Presidents being political animals have done their thing based on their ability and political agenda.

A variety of social and political circumstances have created the American Presidents, sometimes the result was ok, sometimes pure stupidity and sometimes interesting.

Selection of a President is a guess, Intellect is not a factor! In most cases the victor wasn’t an idiot, but a few have managed to slip thru the process.

When Politically brain-dead voters get to vote the result is always a total guess.

Intellect of candidates is of no real interest to voters, false promises and political BS are more effective.

Addendum:

In 2008 an “intellectual” Barack Hussein Obama II (aka Barry Sorento) was elected as our President. Mr. Obama/Sorento is an obvious political ideologue with Delusions of Grandeur, Narcissistic Personality Disorder and a worshiper of Magical Thinking.

Mr. Obama/Sorento is like a “Jimmy Carter” on steroids. He cannot speak coherently without a teleprompter and is in denial about the actual country he has been hired to lead and protect.

We have a “President” that has been saturated with Marxist/Socialist dogma and surrounded (mostly by choice) by with like minded staff.

The “Obama Regime“ has no Common Sense connection to the American people or the American Street.  He “mistakenly” believes that the USA wants to become a Socialist country or is bound and determined to make it such despite the wishes of the people.

George Bush was a halfa**ed “Republican” President (and so was his father) however he/they didn’t try to destroy the economy for advancement of a selfish political agenda. Both Bush Presidents were much closer to being “people” than Carter or Obama. They went thru the “intellectual mills” but little of the brain-washing stuck. Neither exhibited “Delusions of Grandeur or Narcissistic Personality Disorder” what we got was two people that became President and were not completely but somewhat humbled by the duty.

Mr. Obama/Sorento is often quoted as saying “I won” pushing the point that he cannot be questioned about his actions or motives.
