Harry Reid Inadvertently Reveals Democratic Party’s True Colors

Harry Reid blew a gaffe. He said: “I don’t know how anyone of Hispanic heritage could be a Republican, OK?“ (see [1]). He apparently believed that no Hispanic at his right mind could vote for a Republican candidate. And he was careless enough to hint this belief in public.

Oops!

Now the secret why are Dems pushing towards amnesty and path to citizenship for illegals, and object any meaningful border enforcement, is out. The vast majority of beneficiaries of Dems’ efforts in the area of “comprehensive immigration reform” are present and future Hispanic aliens. So, according to Reid’s statement, the current wave of mass and mostly illegal immigration (invasion seems like a more adequate descriptor here) of Hispanics must automatically equal to importation of multitudes of future faithful Democratic voters. He seems to have no problem with siding with the invaders as long as it can help his party win the next elections. And he is not alone.

That’s right. Harry Reid and other Democratic leaders do what they can to help importation of tens of millions of highly prolific Hispanics from Mexico and other “Hispanic” countries because they see it as means of winning future elections. And they don’t mind that the imported masses behave like an invading army that loots America’s public benefits system, pre-empts jobs and incomes from her citizens, and attempts to subordinate her to alien nations and cultures, which, eventually, will likely turn this flagship of Western civilization into a Mexico-like banana republic. The only thing that matters to them is that their party rules.

This is really bad, folks. Some of our country’s ruling elite are apparently ready to resort to treason in order to secure their future grasp on political power. They do not seem to hesitate to side with our assailants or enemies if that would make them elected. How many Western nations suffered from such lowly act, known under the infamous name of “collaboration”, in modern history? (I know two: France and Norway during the WWII.)

So, due to relentless efforts of Harry Reid and his colleagues, the Democratic Party is becoming a national treason party. (Not that the Republican establishment is without a sin here; see [2, 3] for my pointed criticism of Pres. “W” Bush’s immigration policy and the Republican-controlled U.S. Senate’s amnesty attempt.) This doesn’t mean that all or even the majority of rank-and-file Democrats fall under this unflattering characterization. As a matter of fact, there are quite a few Democratic Congressmen that appear patriotic and truly commited to this nation, and not to the Hispanic invaders. However, they are not going to separate their party elite, including Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, from political power. Willy-nilly, they become useful accessories to their leadership’s treacherous attempts of mass importation of Democratic voters.

Fortunately for us, Harry Reid was not smart enough to keep his revealing comments for himself. So now we know what he and his party are cooking for America. Remember this when you will vote this November.
