A satirical trading-card take on Trump's claim that Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch, Michael Dell, Larry Ellison and others are lining up to buy or control TikTok's U.S. operations, gaining algorithm power and board control as ByteDance is forced to divest under U.S. law.
President Donald Trump has stated that media moguls Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch, along with tech figures Larry Ellison and Michael Dell, are likely to be part of a U.S. investor group acquiring or controlling TikTok’s U.S. operations. The proposed deal includes Americans holding six of seven seats on the oversight board, and U.S. control over TikTok’s user data and algorithm. The exact deal structure is still in flux.
